Researchers at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine report that psilocybin produced greater “visual, mystical-type, insightful, and musical experiences” while dextromethorphan (DXM) produced greater disembodiment. Also, both substances increased heart rate, systolic blood pressure, and pupil dilation while decreasing balance and psychomotor performance.
