Formerly known as the Serotonin Club, the International Society for Serotonin Research (ISSR) is a professional scientific organization with about 350 members dealing with all aspects of serotonin research. ISSR holds an international symposium every two years highlighting the latest research findings. They also organize annual networking mixers in cooperation with the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) and the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS). Society members receive a newsletter twice a year and an archive of their previous newsletters is found here.
