Claudia Turnbull is secretary for the Heffter Research Institute. She earned a Master of Arts Degree in Consciousness Studies from Goddard College and has been teaching meditation since 1974. Claudia has traveled throughout India interviewing sadhus and wrote an article titled “Interview with Naga Baba Rampuri” in Namarupa Magazine. Currently, she works at the Johns Hopkins University Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit. Her work centers around understanding the psilocybin experiences of religious professionals and long-term meditators. Claudia has also studied therapist training for the treatment of PTSD with MDMA. She is currently a member of The Threshold Foundation and was a member of the Goddard College Board of Trustees.
