Researchers from the Psychedelic Research Group at Imperial College London reported that they successfully treated patients for depression using psilocybin-assisted therapy. Positive clinical outcomes were predicted using amygdala responses. Also, the researchers said that psilocybin works by “reviving emotional responsiveness.”
