“21st-Century Timothy Leary”
In 2015, Rogan was featured in a Rolling Stone article titled, “How Joe Rogan Went from UFC Announcer to 21st-Century Timothy Leary.” Rogan says psychedelics make him “more compassionate, more aware, more vulnerable” and a better husband and father as a result. He thinks everyone can benefit from them and uses his podcasts to discuss the benefits with experts in the field. Among his many podcasts over the last 8+ years, Rogan has featured Paul Stamets, Rick Doblin, Michael Pollan, and twice interviewed Dennis McKenna.
