T. Cody Swift is a board member of the Heffter Research Institute and Director of the Riverstyx Foundation in Santa Cruz, California. The foundation is dedicated to advancing reforms in end-of-life care, criminal justice, and addiction recovery. Cody received his Master of Arts Degree in Existential-Phenomenological Counseling Psychology from Seattle University in 2012.
Cody has been working to support research into psychedelic medicine since 2008. He worked as a guide at Johns Hopkins University in the psilocybin cancer-anxiety study. Cody’s interests are currently centered on conducting qualitative research into the nature of healing with psychedelics in a clinical setting with an emphasis on MDMA and psilocybin.
