Melody Pezeshkian, BS

Melody enjoys making scientific statements through evidence-based writing.

She earned a B.S. in Psychological and Brain Sciences and a minor in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara. At UCSB she interned as a research assistant conducting EEG research on anomalous cognition, and subsequently worked as a NeuroTechnician delivering EEG-based neurotherapy to clients.

In volunteering at UCSB’s Psychedelic Club, she blended her passion for mental health advocacy and interest in neuroscience with the budding field of psychedelic medicine.

She currently works in the field of psychedelic medicine and mental health with intent to further research the intersect of translational neuroscience and psychedelic medicine.
