Barb is Editor and one of the founders of Psychedelic Science Review. Her goal is making accurate and concise psychedelic science research assessable so that researchers and private citizens can make informed decisions. Personally, her interests in psychedelic science center around receptor binding mechanisms and allosteric modulation. She is also interested in mushroom cultivation techniques.
Barb earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees (human physiology/biochemistry) from Central Michigan University. She spent a nearly a decade working for The Dow Chemical Company, gaining expertise in disciplines including research and development, pharma quality control, regulatory compliance, and toxicology. After retiring early from Dow, Barb started her own antique business specializing in antique advertising (primarily early Detroit beer advertising) and vintage photography. She’s been the Editor and a contributor to PSR since late 2017.
